Green Gold Avocados is a small farming enterprise growing Hass, Reed and other avocado varieties near Albany, WA.  The orchard was established in 2006 by Mary Bunn on her property in the picturesque area of Robinson.  Mary became interested in growing avocados because of their health benefits as well as their delicious flavour.  Mary has long been a keen grower of all kinds of fruits and vegetables, and learnt how to make her avocado trees flourish in the colder Albany climate.  Using mineral fertiliser and plenty of organic materials to cover the avocado roots, the trees are planted close together to mimic their natural rainforest environment.  The avocados are hand-picked and brought to market each week from November to the end of January.
