Summer House Supplies
Summer House Supplies is a small jam and preserves producer which prides itself on turning local produce into delicious and wholesome products to tempt the tastebuds.
The business was founded in 2003 and owes its origins to the highly regarded Emily’s Country Kitchen. Situated at Lowlands, between Albany and Denmark, Emily’s was much loved by locals and visitors alike. The owners Heather Marr and Malcolm Traill still hear nostalgic comments from former customers.
So, Summer House has enjoyed a presence at the Albany Farmers Market selling preservative-free produce since the Market’s foundation in April 2002.
While specialising in the best Lemon Curd and a range of unique WA South Coast berry jams, Summer House features a large range of jams, jellies, marmalades, sauces and pickles, both sweet and savoury, hot and mild.
Heather and Malcolm can be found at the Albany Farmers Market every fortnight throughout the year. You can also purchase a range of their products at Gourmandise & Co. in Stirling Terrace, Albany, and at Bay Merchants, located at Middleton Beach, Albany. They also sell at the seasonal (November – May) Good Food Shed at Bornholm.
